I know you haven't bought one since Nellyville and illegally download all your music, but this is different.  Please support a she-is nowhere-near-starving-artist-weight, but-is-trying-to-do-this-for-a-living-artist.  PLEASE!!!!

J. Simone has a CD entitled - I've Been There.  It is soothing, heartbreaking and fiery.  Don't know how all of those can coexist.  Listen to it and become a believer.
And as you read above, she has a new book coming out.  That will include a CD as well.  Go to a show, ask if she has one in her bag, then buy it :o)


Also, she has a CD of Erotica, called Damn Baby.  If you're feeling frisky, pick this one up!
